New Year Poem

Lord, show us this year, an orchard, your way,
Wisdom and patience, please send us, we pray.
Sow seeds for your kingdom and help us to share
The good news of heaven, that all may go there.
Govern our thoughts, our deeds, what we say,
Illumine your Word, keeping worries at bay;
Use us as servants, as salt, and as light
To draw neighbors to you, keep all hearts contrite. - Susan
